Refunds

Thirty days. No questions, no form, no "may we ask why". Reply to your receipt email or write to hello@thetaxcut.com and it is done.
How to get one
Send us the email address you bought with. That is the whole process. Refunds are issued through Stripe back to the original payment method. It typically takes five to ten business days to appear on a card statement, which is your bank's timing rather than ours.
Why it is unconditional
This product's entire argument is that people are given numbers they cannot check and then charged for the consequences. Refusing a refund on a $29 tool would sit badly with that. If the tool did not tell you something you did not already know, it did not earn the money.
After a refund
Pro is removed from your account and the paid features stop working. Your account itself remains, and every channel and every sourced fee stays available to you permanently, exactly as it is to everyone else — the free tier is the whole database.
Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen days. For digital content supplied immediately, that right is lost once supply begins, provided you gave express consent and acknowledged the loss at checkout — which is why there is a tick box on the payment page. The thirty-day policy above is offered voluntarily and is more generous than the statutory minimum; it does not replace or reduce any right you have by law.
Chargebacks
Please ask for a refund before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the refunded amount and takes considerably longer for you. There is no scenario in which asking directly gets you a worse outcome.
