Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated July 29, 2026 · Effective July 29, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out how you may and may not use The Tax Cut. It forms part of our Terms of Use.

What you may do

You may use the free tier freely, and — with a Pro license — use The Tax Cut Pro for your own business purposes, including research and comparison on behalf of your clients. You may share links to the site and cite individual figures with attribution.

What you may not do

You agree not to:

  • Circumvent, disable, or attempt to bypass the license gate or any access control, or use Pro features without a valid license;
  • Copy, scrape, harvest, or systematically extract the fee database or any substantial part of the Service by any automated or manual means;
  • Resell, sublicense, redistribute, or publish the fee database as a dataset, or use it to build, train, or improve a competing product or model;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service, except to the limited extent that law expressly permits;
  • Share, sell, or transfer your account credentials, or use another person’s account without authorization;
  • Introduce malware, launch a denial-of-service attack, probe or scan for vulnerabilities, or otherwise interfere with or compromise the integrity, security, or performance of the Service;
  • Use the Service to violate any law or regulation, or to infringe the intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights of anyone;
  • Impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure, or use bots or automated scripts to access the Service in a way that disrupts it for others;
  • Misrepresent your affiliation with AKHIM LLC or remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notice.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we consider appropriate, including issuing a warning, removing content, suspending or terminating your account or license, and reporting activity to law enforcement. Where a violation is also a breach of our Terms of Use, the remedies there also apply. Termination for a serious violation does not entitle you to a refund.

Reporting abuse

If you believe someone is misusing the Service, or you have a security concern, please contact us at hello@thetaxcut.com with enough detail for us to investigate. We appreciate good-faith reports and will not pursue action against researchers who act responsibly and do not access or damage others’ data.
